Sam recently joined us after completing a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Melbourne. Sam has since contributed to the energy market modelling team as well as providing assistance on infrastructure regulation projects and competition policy cases.
Sam’s research areas focus on dynamic modelling and optimisation across a range of economic areas. Prior to joining HoustonKemp, Sam completed an internship at the Commonwealth Treasury in the Model Development Practice Unit. During his time in government, Sam worked on updating the Treasury’s suite of microsimulation models, focusing on household modelling and tax policy.
In addition to his Master’s degree in Economics, Sam holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Economics and a Bachelor of Science majoring in Mathematics, both from the University of New South Wales.
