Stuart is an analyst with expertise in econometrics, data visualisation and their financial applications.
Stuart began his professional career at HoustonKemp in 2017 and has become fully involved in utilising his skills towards real world solutions to economic problems. Stuart’s experience has exposed him to government policy in the energy sector, the cruise ship industry and several private corporations seeking a better cost of capital model.
Stuart’s work combines his knowledge of energy networks with his quantitative skills to undertake financial modelling in both regulated and unregulated settings. His experience in relation to economic regulation includes applying building block methodologies to gas and electricity networks as well as the modelling for regulatory investment tests.
In addition, Stuart has had a key role in the development of HoustonKemp’s electricity market modelling capabilities and, correspondingly, has developed a deep understanding of the NEM and has been working at the forefront of addressing modelling challenges associated with current technologies and policy changes in the market.
Stuart holds a Bachelor of Economics, with first class honours majoring in econometrics, and a Bachelor of Commerce, with a major in finance.
